Today, I got into a fight with my roommate's girlfriend's best friend. A few hours later, they had me evicted. FML

There is more to this story than the surface information shows. Also how they could get you evicted within a few hours is quite an achievement if you are validly on the lease. If you were staying there without being on the lease then it would be more a case of the leaseholder throwing you out rather than evicting you.

I’m on the lease, but they used a pet loop hole to turn the landlord.

I was on the lease, they used a pet loop hole. I added more detail in another comment

In most states, Housing laws mandate that if the person has lived in the residence for ninety days or more they are a legal resident of the dwelling and all evictions must be filed through the courts and served by a Sheriff's Deputy in order to be a valid eviction. But yes you are also right.

Yes, there is more. I have two pet rabbits, as a group we decided not to tell the landlord about it. They invited the landlord over, showed him the rabbits. Legally I could have fought it, at least gotten 24 hours, but here you can be evicted for pets. I had a friend who picked me up, and that seemed better than living in a toxic situation

Pet rabbits make a lost of noise in the middle of the night hopping in cages. And espcially if their were other issues you can't be surprised.

You’ve clearly never had a rabbit. Anyways, it’s better his way, and safer for your rabbits.
