The only way I could understand you getting fired was if your manager wanted to run his company into the ground and you saving money ruined his master plan

You got fired for one of these reasons... 1. Your attempt to save the company money exposed someone incompetence. Most likely, someone higher up the management chain than you. 2. You were suppose to save the company $60,000. Your bank account has a sudden increase of $54,000.

I once saved my company by killing a person filing a lawsuit against the company. And believe me, I did not get one damn thank you card from my boss.

Normally I wouldn't advocate a civil suit but this might be a solid reason to sue your former employer
