Yeah, you have to specify if he confessed. Because it reads like you're just assuming, which would be ridiculous. People use the wrong name all the time. My husband has called me by his mother's name. My step-mother has called her daughter by their cat's name! Brains are funny things.
We'd assume that him using another girls name would be the start of the conversation. It's hard to write everything with such a small Fml word count.
This post needs more information.

My question is why did he need to give a name to buy the tickets? Also the way I read this seems like OP may be jumping to conclusions. Need more info to help me connect wrong name = he's cheating.
Did he confess after that he was cheating or are you assuming because he used a wrong name?

That's quite a leap in logic going from "He used a different name than mine" (possibly just by accident) and "He's cheating". There's definitely more to this story.
