Today, due to bad weather, my dad let me take his car to drive to my apartment 3 hours away. I only realized when I got there that my keys were still sitting on my parents' kitchen counter. FML

22--maybe ops parents have only one car and ops car is not good in bad weather also not everyones parents are willing to drive 3 hours in bad weather to drop off a key.

Google ways to pick your lock. Then, once you've entered and completed whatever task worth 3 hours of driving, take your father's car back and also retrieve your keys.
