Today, Christmas Day, I have the flu and my fiancé is forcing me to go to his parents house for dinner or he won't go, making me look bad. He claims I don't look ill. I'm throwing up and can hardly stand. FML.

Why would you look bad if he doesn't go? He's an adult; he can make his own choices. If anything, HE would look bad if he goes and you don't. He should be at home taking care of you.

I'm sorry but that is udder bullshit. Do not let him guilt you. You are sick any normal person would understand that. Honestly he seems like the type to get mad at you because you got his family sick.

I wouldn't have went last year me and my two kids where sick my husband an all of us stayed home didn't do anything we did our own Xmas and just relaxed all day both sides of the family understood and didn't want us to share it if he can't respect that you're that sick then maybe you need to rethink if u really want to marry him
