My boss just hired my stalker. Apparently "he posted his clothes through my letterbox and parked outside my home for hours, making me afraid to leave the house" isn't reason enough to turn down someone who left this job 2 years ago, while being investigated for gross misconduct.

Get the police involved if they aren't already. Stalking is serious. Be prepared to move jobs and talk to HR if you can. Most importantly stay safe.

File a police report and use it to get a restraining order. Legally, your employer will have no choice but to fire the stalker, or transfer them to another facility. Either way, they can't make you two work in the same building so long as the court order is in place.
