Today, my boyfriend got a new tattoo. It was a big tattoo of Pikachu on his hip. I told him now I'd feel like I was having sex with an 8-year-old boy. His defense? "No, no, think of it as having sex with Pikachu!" He still refuses to understand why that's weird. FML

I love cartoons. I love tattoos. But for me, the two just don't go together. You need to put a LOT of consideration into something that's going to be on your body forever, & it doesn't really sound like OPs boyfriend did that.

a tattoo is not easily removed, it's best to put a lot of thought into any permanent alterations you do to your body as you will have to live with it or shell out a lot of money to have it removed. sure your BF may like Pokemon now, but will he feel the same in the future? for his sake i hope he does, because an image of a ugly yellow rat thing on his hip might be a turn off for his future sexual partners...
