I would say that qualifies as a mental health issue. OP, you really need to talk to a counselor or psychologist. … If your current work is so awful that you think cancer would be preferable, you are actually in luck. It’s a lot easier to change jobs or even careers than to battle cancer. I know, I am a cancer survivor (in remission ~ 6 years now.
