I laughed way too hard at this because I'm totally this awkward. Thank goodness I'm married. At a friend's bachelorette party a couple years ago, we were playing one of those silly games where you get a card and you have to do what the card says. My task was to get a sock from a guy, so I managed to talk the bartender out of his and walked around with it hanging out of my pocket. Later, he stopped me and said "So, you have my sock...can I have your number?" Instead of saying something like "Sorry, I'm married.", I laughed and then just went "No." and walked away. My friend told me later that the poor guy looked crushed, and he ended up explaining to him that I am off the market. :P

next time try to get him in them ;)
