Today, the heating in my house broke down. I called my boyfriend and asked if I could stay at his place until I could get it fixed. He said no, and told me my overgrown leg hair would keep me warm. FML

Guess he can also keep himself warm when he's single!

You could always shave your legs and knit yourself something warm

I think something's wrong. That was really unfriendly of him to say. I guess you two have had a recent fight, otherwise: go check what's up... Is he hiding something from you? But if it's true what he says: damn, do something about it!

You're an idiot. Shaving has nothing to do with keeping oneself clean; it's really just a preference. Especially since shaving is nothing more than what society thinks a woman "should do" with her body. If OP doesn't want to shave, it's her choice.

21 - Hair is in no way unclean provided you wash it daily, just like with the rest of your body. This is what you're trying to say: We should all be bald because hair is disgusting. See how that makes sense? HINT: It doesn't. As others have said, shaving is a preference and doesn't -have- to be done.

What The **** does shaving have to do with hygiene? Hairy man legs are unhygienic then? Give your head a shake!

Being a mammal is part it..... I don't see why we should shave our legs. I do cause the hair feels funny when I put on pants and it's all pickly. Lol. But it's natural.

Well at least you won't need to waste money on leg warmers. :o

Shaving isnt really considered basic hygiene... Sure, its nicer and all, but having hairy legs doesnt make you dirty or anything.
