Today, our carbon monoxide detector started beeping. My mom started freaking out and made me go stand outside so I "don't die". I stood outside for 20 minutes, it was raining and it turned out that the detector was just low on battery. FML

I've had carbon monoxide poisoning that is no joke it sucks I had to be on oxygen and some room by myself 4 two days and the way they test u Is by giving u a chest x-Ray and taking blood from ur main artery and that's in the wrist and that hert hurts the most and it also especially sucks when they can't find ur pluse cause they couldn't find mine

Next time you write a big paragraph, please try to spell stuff right and not use "ur" or "4". I'm not try to be a grammar nazi, I just can't read what you're saying.

Dude, at least it wasn't 115 degrees outside like it is here. I'd be grateful to have some of your rain.

what if it wasn't the battery? you have a detector because YOU can't smell it!

What's your problem, you idiot/crybaby? She was doing the right thing- Carbon Monoxide can kill you. She didn't know the battery didn't work.

um, carbon monoxide can only kill because it takes the place of oxygen. basically it's because it results in a lack of oxygen. all u had to do was open the door for ventilation and u would've been fine. u don't need to go outside.

In America, it's illegal in some states not to have both detectors.
