Today, my mother thought it would be okay to take my camera and erase all of my pictures that included my graduation, party, and my sisters wedding. Her excuse? "We need more room for Katie's birthday." Katie is our pet cat. FML

Today, my mom found a box full of stuff she had been looking for. She started going through it and found baby pictures of my sister and me, as well as pictures of the cats. She put my baby pictures back in the box and closed the lid. The cat pictures are now hanging in her living room. FML

Today, my parents dropped by my new house, and my mother offered to tidy up for me while I was out. After they left, I noticed that her "tidying up" included throwing out all the pictures of my girlfriend and replacing them with pictures of herself. FML

Today, the girl I was babysitting was being disrespectful to me, so I took away her stuffed animal and told her that she couldn't have it back until she apologized. She ended up sneaking onto my laptop and deleting all the pictures I'd saved from my recent vacation to Europe. FML

They are recoverable so long as she hasn't taken the pictures of "Katie" yet. Swap out the memory card for a new one and hold onto the memory card with the deleted pictures in them. Then find a Computer Tech who can recover deleted data from computers, flash drives, and memory cards. It won't be cheap ... but you could always send your mother the bill once you recover them.

You can save your pictures, even though they have been deleted if you don't take new ones, or even if you do most can be saved, just use the online program that allows for memory card retrival, its free and just restores everything deleted that has not been written over

It's usually a good idea to back up your pictures as soon as possible, but she had no right to delete them off of YOUR camera. I keep all my favorites on mine, so even though I know I have them saved, I would be pretty mad if someone deleted them off to take pictures of a cat. Or anything, without my permission. Sorry, but that's a bit psycho. Especially if she HONESTLY feels that the cat's birthday is a legit reason to erase graduation and wedding pictures.

wow fyk and f ur sisters life. I understand op might of forgotten to back up pics cuz I do but for all we know op might not have a computer to back the pics on and was going to get all the pcs printed. but ur mom is really dumb. deleting the pics of ur sisters weddin is bad. she must not care bout ur sisters big day =/ and I say take the cat for a car ride and forget to put it in the car but under the tire ;p

does she have a computer? if so it's probably full of cat pictures.... WIPE OUT THE HARDDRIVE for revenge, she'll lose pictures, videos, saved documents, EVERYTHING. that'll teach her. =]
