With the exception of being at a zoo, though the location is unimportant, this is kind of my dream. I'd only say yes if it was a ring pop. I've always wanted it to go that way. Give me your boyfriend, and you can post it on FML haha

that's very cute, suck it up and appreciate it. he was probably just doing it for laughs! I know I would have thought is was funny :) besides, it'd make a funny story to tell the kids one day, if you weren't too bitchy and stuck in fairy-tale land to see the bright side in his gesture, to even have kids.

Be happy you got any kind of ring at all. When my husband proposed he didn't give me a ring. In fact I never got a ring until we had already been married for 3 years. His grandmother gave me her ring on her death bed. I think it's cute that he would propose with a ring pop. It's something unique that nobody ever does. Be happy that he even proposed and quit caring so much about material objects.
