Today, I was with my family at a buffet getting dessert. As I had my chocolate cake in hand, I grabbed an extra slice of cheesecake for my mom because I knew she would like a slice. Upon returning to my table, a couple walking behind me commented, "See, that's why Americans are so obese." FML

&that's when you should have turned and said, "Actually, this cheesecake is for my mom, and American's are so obese because of restaraunts like this one and you are helping them stay open by eating here. Ever think about that?" and then just walked away. Some people, I swear.

I really think I would suggest none too politely that if they don't like it, they should return to their country of residence. That's bullshit, racist, and they deserve to be kicked in the head for it.

HAHAHAHAH TROLL! I lived in the US for 3 years and it's true too many of them eat crap all the time, and too much of it at every meal. And the people probably didn't mean that all Americans are fat, but when 30% of your population is overweight, it *IS* something to be ashamed of or at least to do something about. You can eat whatever you want, it's the "how much" that makes you fat, not the "what".

It is true that the couple that was behind you was being inconsiderate and rude. But as someone who is Canadian we get to see a lot of American television and it's all reality shows about obesity and losing weight, not to mention the talk shows. I remember watching one talk show about a women who never left her couch for over 2 years and became fused to her couch and her family just let it happen. How awful to be so depressed to live like that and have a family that supports that. Then I hear about many states taking Gym class out of the curriculum from public schools or high schools or not making it mandatory. The entire Western world is becoming more obese because we're eating more fast food, watching more TV, playing more video games and surfing the net at all hours of the day and night. It's just with Americans that it's in our faces all the time. It doesn't help that most of the world hates your government and what it does. Thank God, people are only allowed to be president for two terms down there. Thank God, Obama was elected. Someone who appears to be intelligent and have a head on their shoulders. It's the stupid Americans that give the United States a bad name, but as far as the Americans I've met, you all seem to be normal people trying to deal with a bad situation.

Yeah you watch a show over it that doesn't mean every ones like that and I do agree with just about every but the video game part... I don't play that much but I like my far amount of cod. But really why does anyone care if someone's fat he/she might like being who they are and if not... Well it's not anything a little bit of running could fix.
