Today, I was pulled over. The cop stated that he "couldn't see" me because I had "blended in with the dark car background", and that it looked like no one was driving. I was literally pulled over for being black. FML

He fumbled on his excuse because he was distracted by your hand being down your pants. But hey, it's better than him actually citing you for going '80 in a 65'.

I would file a complaint. Pulling you over because he couldn't see the damn driver? It's not like cars drive themselves. File a complaint with the precinct. Then get the guy's badge number, and go to every damn news station you possibly can find. Make an image on facebook for everyone to share. That asshole deserves to be publicly humiliated.

I think a complaint is good enough. Not being able to see the driver of a moving vehicle is a legit reason to pull over the car. It could mean the driver is bending down while driving or a child is trying to drive. To go that far is little bit too much. Especially when there's other officers doing much worse than this one.

Iknoweverything- you seem like the type to overreact. Glad you weren't the police officer or the poor driver might have gotten shot!!

It wasn't racist. I think the police officer had a legitimate concern that the car may have been driven by a child or was coasting on its own as a runaway. It's unfortunate that it seems like profiling, but if this happened to me, I would have tried to understand a little more than you.

17 - If he thought it was a child, fair enough. However, if he reckoned it was a runaway car what did he hope to accomplish by trying to make it pull over?

Racism! You should've reported the cop to the local police station.

I don't like people like you. Police officers are, for the most part, noble men and women attempting to protect ungrateful jerks like you. I know police officers, and the stress of their job is extreme; I could never handle it.
