Today, I was let go from my balloon-selling job at the zoo. They put a new monkey cage in my designated spot. I was literally fired so a monkey could take my place. FML

Tell the truth. You weren't selling balloons, you were one of the exhibits. The monkeys were cuter and balloon sales went up since they took your place.

I hope you had a really big space to sell balloons OP, and the monkey hasn't got a cage hardly big enough to move around in :S I'm surprised they fired you though, rather than just moving you to a different spot... that sucks, but I guess they make more money out of showing animals than selling balloons
