Today, I told a guy he should be ashamed of himself for parking in a handicapped space. He hit me with his prosthetic leg. FML

You two clearly started off on the wrong foot.

Seriously? Why would you judge someone like that?

My dad had the same happen to him. Someone scolded him for parking in a handicapped space (he had a permit). My dad has 3 herniated disks in his back and kyphosis, which makes walking long distances extremely painful. Also, his uncle (98 y/o) was also in the car. He has no problems except natural age issues with his hips. (ps, he doesn't look his age.) yet with all this, you can't tell my dad has those back problems and you can't tell his uncle's age so Don't judge

maybe OP wanted that spot for himself? just FYI OP, i dont think stupidity/rudeness counts as a handicap.

Sounds like you're the one who doesn't have a leg to stand on.

that reminds me of when I was released from the hospital for abdominal surgery and I was using a wheelchair in a store and I got a ton of dirty looks from people. those people were judgemental assholes and so are you op.

yeah i remember those looks when i had to use a wheelchair due to a broken leg and arm. despite the massive cast on my leg people still scowled at me. the temptation to trip up said scowlers was almost too much and at 11 years old i probably would have gotten away with it too.

You could not have deserved this more. Even if he hadn't been missing a leg, many disabilities are not visible at all. Screw you OP.

Don't judge before you know. YDI
