Today, I received a "diamond ring" in Mafia Wars (a facebook app) from my boyfriend of 3 years. Along with the ring came a message. It read, "Will you marry me?" He was serious. FML

C'mon, I've seen a proposal through an Xbox 360 game (which was accepted). Everyone wants to be original so just make up a story to tell everyone. You can tell the true story to certain people when you're ready for them to hear it.

HOW is that an FML? Those who say it is, she is posting it on an INTERNET site. Now, let me explain it simply - Girlfriend likes internets - Boyfriend notices this - To be unique, instead of the old, on the knee thing, he does something creative. He uses the internet she loves so much - She goes on ANOTHER website posting how her life sucks because she has a boyfriend who actually notices stuff.
