Irritable mood? Discomfort? Anything like that would stop her from wanting to be conversational.

It probably has nothing do with that and is only due to you being that far pregnant and I would file a complaint about it. That is not a terminatable reason. One thing to be prepared for is that they will respond it was for a different reason altogether like refusing to do work.
