gross I felt something like a pimple or boil once and I accidentally picked it off when scratching. it hurt. I still don't know if it was a boil, pimple or whatever. I have no idea what it was.

While It is normal. It depends on how often it happens which is also counterbalanced with the persons traits, hereditary medical issues in the family, what they wear. There's a lot of factors when it comes to this kind of medical issue. However most small details are ignored and/or not considered therefore a general assumption is used in substitute of the lack of the smaller detail based on my experience. But this website is troll city to me, so I just wing it by observing, scouting and drawing concepts that may be used in later life.

It is probably an infected Bartholin cyst, or it could just be an abscess. Neither has anything to do with cleanliness, hygiene, etc.

I dunno about a Bartholin cyst... once those get infected they're pretty painful. I've never had one not make me feel like crawling into a Novocain bath.
