First off, yeah I was a bit pissed (cause, well, I was pretty excited..) but we do prank each other all the time so I'm laughing about it. Don't worry, I'll get my revenge! Also, its not because she is jealous/into me- like I said, we prank each other, and as for my roommate being in her underwear thats not unusual, we both do it and she is very free with her body. Personally I think its great she is so confident, which I respect (since it's made bloody hard for women these days). As for the lot of you who were like '**** her, she owes you' thats kinda sick. You don't 'owe' someone sex for anything, especially not a prank. However she really can't complain if I scare off her next date! Revenge prank ideas are welcome, I'm thinking chilli in her cereal for starters..

It actually sounds like she's jealous. She doesn't understand what was wrong with her behaviour, walked around in front of you (never mind your date) in her underwear and pretended to be your girlfriend to the other girl, which sounds like she feels threatened. If she doesn't understand then don't bother your time explaining it to her, but do make her aware you are not happy and not to ever do this again and that she does owe you an apology. Trust me, I'm (genuinely) a psychologist.

Roommates seem to get like that often. Mine likes to curl up and nap on me when we have visitors, especially if one is a woman I'm interested in. Not sure if it's territorial or continuing payback for some historical slight.
I don't understand what's up with everyone assuming this is the only possibility. She very well could know what was wrong with her behavior and just finds it funny. Op could have just had a casual college date nothing overly serious, and she was just pissing around having fun. As for the underwear bit she may just be really comfortable with herself... I walk around in my underwear all the time it doesn't mean I'm secretly into the people I live with.. I simply don't like clothes and I'm in my own home so I can do that. Well jealousy may be a possibility it's not the only one. That may just be their friendship, she could view him more as just a buddy and figured she was playing a joke on him and his unsuspecting date.
I know it might not be the only reason but it's very plausible considering she doesn't view her behaviour as wrong. I'm the same with walking around in my underwear but if I was someone's roommate I wouldn't do that, especially not in front of some girl he wants to date, it just sends the wrong message across.
