well scars stay on you forever, if it's bad enough, it's probably him expressing that he wants to be with you, FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....im kiddin about it being creepy though.....but i would rather carve it on my arm, nothing like taking pain for love.

its like you saying," Umm, just because all you did was carve your's and my initials on your leg, means that you are a mental freak, and i'm gonna have to leave you".....seriously, i've seen obsessive guys do worse than just this, like writing a mountainload of fkin poems about their "love" and declaring that they want to be with you forever and love you and all that after like two weeks of dating. Now THAT is a real reason to leave him, just be glad that this is all he did.

I had an boy friend do that .. but it was on the side of his hand along his thumb and it was my full name.. not just the intials.. it was 7 years ago.. and he still has the scar on his hand.. he shows me whenever I dump into him every now and then.. really creeped me out.He was soo crazy that when i dumped him and started dating someone else afterwards he told everyone i was still with him and was a cheater, that i wasnt allowed to leave him :S.

I have to admit thats a little creepy but more than anything its sad. He seems to have a lack of social skills, otherwise he would know how horribly wrong this is. No one goes around mutilating their body for "love" a tattoo after a few years is one thing but taking a knife to your skin thats not normal. His intentions may have been in the right place but if this is a re-occurring thing he shou8ld seek some help. I'm in no way saying he is mentally unstable. I'm just saying if it happens again cutting himself could become an addiction and he should get help. Just be careful. Don't allow this behaviour to escalate or it could become creepy. But at this point I thik he's just misguided.
