If there is no other method to leave the room, I suggest wrapping yourself with clothes (or your blanket) from head to toe and running out of there. Once you are out, you can take everything off and put it in the washer. There is a chance of it still being somewhere in your room, but at least you are out and can find something to take it on if it comes out of hiding.
