Today, I've been engaged for 2+ years to a man who asks every day who i've spoken to and accuses me of cheating when I talk to people outside of my family. When he's home, I have to watch him talk on the phone to every person who calls. This is considered our time together. Then he wants sex. I know I'm stupid for staying. FML

You know you're stupid for staying, yet you continue to stay. RUN. Trust me, I've been in a relationship where the guy was very controlling/emotionally abusive, and I was afraid to get out of it, but I did. And my life is so much better now. You need to get out of that relationship now while you still can.

Okay you need to get out of that relationship in my opinion. Guys that act like this are insecure and sometimes abusive. He’s not being jealous. He’s actually a controlling piece of crap. These guys will never change either. Please be careful. Controlling men are potentially dangerous. I have seen it firsthand in my own extended family.
