Today, during an argument, my boyfriend had the nerve to tell me he'll make more than me at his new job that he starts next week. He can't keep a job for more than six months. I've been working at my job for over two years. FML

Today, I told my unemployed boyfriend to pick a town anywhere in the country that he thinks he can find work in. I offered to find myself a job there, find a flat, and pay for rent, bills, and food while he looks. He said I was selfish for wanting him to hurry up. It's been three years. FML

Today, my boyfriend keeps mentioning how well his new job pays, while I don’t have any income. He then got upset when I expected him to pay for the groceries I got on my way to his new place. What I bought was stuff I needed so I could cook for him, and for me to eat while I’m there, cleaning and fixing stuff for him. FML

you know he's probably just excited that he's going to be the breadwinner. i was in a similar situation. My wife is a nurse and makes 37 an hour and up until my latest job she always out earned me, and then i went and did a tech boot camp, and my first job pays me more than her just let him know that the bills are all on the breadwinner now and he wont be so excited because thats how it went for me lol

From experience, he won't EVER keep a job, and eventually you'll not only do all the housework and cooking, but also all the breadwinner duties as your under developed man child becomes surlier and surlier. Free yourself now, while he has a job and you won't feel guilty.
