Your mom is NOT to blame for you picking up the phone while driving. You could have rejected the call, or just let it ring. You totally deserved that ticket.

You are also part of another statistic: the individuals of the next generation that blame everyone else for their mistakes. You could have pulled over and answered. That was your choice, not your mother's.
