Atropos I never attacked anyone for wearing make up. I simply said those attacking the OP for trying to attract a guy are being very hypocritical if you wear make up. Make up, by it's very definition, is to enhance your appearance and impress. If a girl wants to wear make up, fine. The same girl simply shouldn't also criticize others for how they choose to impress a guy. I've already listed the reasons above why pouring water on yourself is less dramatic that painting your face.

theanonimouse - It's not really an argument, because that would imply you'd been capable of replying to my points, rather than ignoring them because you can't. 173 is probably right. Perhaps you're not aware of why you wear make up. I'd think on some level you must be, but perhaps not. I don't consider a little bit of foundation inch thick face paint. I consider what a lot of girls apply to be excessive. It would be very sad if luck was required in finding a girl who wasn't ashamed of her natural appearance.

Is it really so shocking I'm not a sexist that thinks women should do this to be considered presentable? 193 - I only made 2 comments about make up before people got overly defensive and justified their reasons for wearing it. I've said a number of times that I don't have any problem with girls wearing make up. Simply that's it's designed to impress, and if that's acceptable, why are other methods of impressing not. 194 - I think I read your comment as being by the person I'd directed a post at, that you'd replied to. They had "girl" in their name, and I'd presumed they were female, hence my response to you. I'm not bitter over it and don't really have any strong personal opinions on it one way or the other. I just have not much else to do this evening and don't like seeing people over react to girls trying to impress people. It seems very silly, and an excessive occurrence on this site.
