Cliché

Today, my daughter-in-law sent me another romantic text that was meant for her husband. Not only can't she spell for shit, the clichés she uses are horrifyingly embarrassing. The fact this keeps happening makes me want to slam her head in the oven. FML

Meant for "her husband"...suuuuuure it was. I wouldn't bother slamming her head in the oven. I've tried that on numerous FML commenters to no avail. I recommend a taser. The spelling isn't better, but at least they're quiet for a few minutes.

It's because she's a Jew, not because she's stupid.

Why does everyone assume that it's a woman? It could just as easily have been the father-in-law, especially if his and his son's names are similar. Stop jumping to conclusions -.-

Maybe they're embarrassing to you, but for her and her husband, it might be what they like doing. As for the spelling, I can see how it might irritate you, but come on. Violence isn't the the answer for a poor speller. Why can't you just simply say "you texted the wrong person, you should check the name before you send something, you know." And then if she does it again, suggest that she change her husband's name in her phone to a pet name she might have for him. If she sends sappy romantic texts, she probably has a pet name for him too. But still, you need to calm down.

Or she can just shove her head in an oven, and hopefully ops daughter in law will post an entertaining FML.

"Today, just becuz I axidently cent my muther-n-law a text messaje insted of my husbend, she slammed my head ento my ovin. I am startin to hate that k*nt."

I think she wants you to be her personal text editor. Just forward it to her husband, no need for oven abuse.

she might have some feelings for u be cool ask her what does she really want from u?

You sound charming. I bet she hates you too.

Wow, you are a winner in-law. Hopefully they never see or hear from you again as you go off into your lonely and bitter ending.

It keeps happening? I think you enjoy it, since it seems you haven't told her to stop :P

I really can't see how someone can mean something to be romantic when they are too lazy to check their spelling. "I luv u b/ not enuf 2 spend 5 xtra scnds on dis txt".
