Why would you instantly assume it was your partner? Is your partner between phones and using a friends' phone? Even if they aren't, they are not going to text you from an unknown number without first telling you that it's them speaking. What I'm trying to say is: The next time you get a text from an unknown number, ask them who it is first, don't just assume it's your other half or someone else you know. You avoid all kinds of cringe that way.
It is I, your partner! Please send me your financial info so I can drain your accounts.. er, I mean, buy you a lovely gift
How many partners do you have?
Long and sappy text in response to a basic "I love you" message... You got more issues than responding to an unknown number
