Ok. I have been trying to lose weight by counting calories for almost 10 years. Everytime I start I find it so hard to keep going. Except this time is different. All I can say is. Try counting calories, you can still eat goodies as long as you "budget" them. And drink water to feel full. Good luck.
Healthy eating isn't just about eating less. You also need to eat smart too. It seems like you cut too many calories at once. No protein, no snack to help stave off hunger.
Losing weight is all about watching your serving size, calorie intake and portion control. If you want to eat at McD's every day, as long as you stay within your caloric intake for the day, you'll lose weight. I had McD's once a week for six months and lost 40 lbs. I watched my serving sizes, and my caloric intake. Size 22 to size 12.
