Want the truth? The ice-cream woman was obviously lying. She probably said that to start a nasty fight between OP and the boyfriend, just for her entertainment! Besides, how would she know who slept with her sister-in-law? But if boyfriend confessed, that's another story...

But that wasn't her sibling, that was her sibling in law. So that means her sister in law was either cheating on the girl's brother or that she was cheating on her husband's brother, neither of which are likely that she would know.
