Today, my doctor told me my asthma was being triggered by my dad's smoking. He wrote a note to my dad, asking him to refrain from smoking while around me. My dad took one look at the note, then threw it in the trash, saying the doctor "doesn't know what he's talking about." FML

Today, once again I tried to convince my dad to stop smoking. And once again, while I was speaking, he lit up a cigarette and smoked until my asthma flared up and I was wheezing so hard that I had to leave the room. FML

Today, my dad hit his mid-life crisis. When I came home and said hi, he told me to shut up, then went to the living room. He then lit up a cigarette and started muttering about having to put up with me, then went into a coughing fit, because he's never smoked before in his life. FML

Today, I overheard my mom telling my aunt what an “attention-seeking drama queen” I’ve been lately. All I asked was that she not smoke around me. I’ve had asthma all my life and am currently recovering from Covid. She thinks it’s all a conspiracy, meanwhile I haven’t taken a deep breath in weeks. FML

Today, due to the heat, I had a deadly asthma attack. Where was my inhaler? My dad pawned it for beer money. What did my dad do about my attack? Told me to quit being a Drama Queen. I had to go across the street and beg for a ride to the ER from my neighbor. FML

Today, I told my dad to go to the doctor, as he’s been hacking his lungs up every minute for a month, and I've not had a decent night’s sleep since then. He insists he’s not sick, and my mom yelled at me because she sleeps in the same room and is able to sleep through it. FML

15 you're quite oblivious as to what really goes into a pack of smokes. They eat you alive from the inside, destroy your lungs, fill up you arteries with tar, can and will after a while cause over 20 different types of cancer. Just google why smoking is bad... you'll see.

My bitch sister in law feels the same was, as well as her pig husband. One of my nieces when she lived there had asthma and the other niece (who is 14) was born with and still has heart problems.

Start wheezing next time he lights up. Have your inhaler in your pocket, but say you can't find it. Make him take you to the hospital and slip the doctor a note that you're faking. He may not have to pay anything but maybe it'll scare the pants off of him. It's better than having a real asthma attack the day that you actually lose your inhaler.
