Press charges for assault
Does your boss realise that, that is called *Assault* and *Harassment in the workplace*
In Canada (where your profile says you are) there are laws to protect you. That is assault so call the RCMP and report. Then the labour board to see if you have enough to call it a hostile work environment. ( you do). The EI because they cant make you so miserable you'll quit just so you don't qualify for benefits. You should be able to collect EI if you do all of the other things I listed.
Assuming there's a security camera in the room where this happened, you can absolutely get the police involved for assault.
I'd file assault charges against him, nobody deserves that!

Okay. Just that small amount of information is enough to assume a lot of what your boss is doing isn't legal and you should take it up to the law or something. that's not right
I'm not keen on suing people just to get money, but this time consider it for the well being of the remaining employees.
