Today, my teacher, who's Irish, called me insensitive and stupid for imitating her accent. I'm Filipino and my parents immigrated to Ireland where I was born, and then we moved to Canada when I was 14. Her response to my explanation? "Bullshit." FML

Prove it with documents. Otherwise come in next class with a Scottish accent!

Tell ur parents to talk to the teacher

Awww :( that's lame! But it's unusal for Asians to have accents where I live! The first one I heard was Hok from Quest Crew with the British accent.

Technically everyone has an accent...

Blasphemy! My fellow Canadians have no accent, it's just that the rest of the world speaks Canadian improperly.

People have accents based on where they're born and the culture they grow up in. I'm from Jamaica where there actually is a large chinese and indian population. People are usually freaked out when my jamaican friend, whose ethnic chinese, speak with a full on jamaican accent. It especially freaks out the ABCs (American Born Chinese).

So.. RedPill, I'm not making fun of Jamaicans, but do they say things like, "ayy mon, can ya get that out the way, mon?" (just a random sentence. XD) Like I saw in Shark Tales?!? :D

She's bullshit OP, some people just wanna pick a fight(;

And how does that help OP, to go and screw his teacher?

He's learning the English language. 'Screw you' is probably one of the first comebacks he's learned. So take it easy.. He doesn't know what to say to what situation yet..
