Ouch, that sucks. I broke my arm a few years ago, so I know all too well the severe cast itches. Good luck with it- hopefully they'll take it off soon. Don't scratch it though, or it'll get infected.

I had a broken leg and a broken hand. During the hot summer months the cast itched like hell. Put powder down it that will help the itch.

I have had several casts and agree that would suck big time, but my question and looking at the comments noone has addressed I believe: how do you know? The casts are supposed to be somewhat tight to prevent movement, did you watch it crawl in and bite, if you can't see it, itchiness from debree and sweating is more likely and in most cases feel just as itchy as a bug bite.. Without physical evidence (like you watched it crawl in; which would be your fault) this really isn't a FML more a first world problem.. :

Use a knitting needle to scratch, worked foe me when my leg was in a cast.

That sucks! I know how you feel, I got poison oak inside my cast once..during summer vacation...on the way to Disneyland.

Are you sure it's a mosquito bite? With such a tight spot, it sounds more like a bed bug bite. Bed bugs are becoming more and more of a problem in the USA and their bites resemble mosquito bites in looks and itchiness.

Ooh man! That sucks, I had poison ivy on my leg, when I broke it, NOT a fun time!
