Today, I came home from a 3-week vacation. Upon arriving home, I heard voices inside my house. Considering I live alone, I called the cops. Turns out I had left my TV on for the entire 3 weeks. Can't wait to see the electricity bill. FML

Unless you have an older model lcd with a huge screen I wouldn't worry about it. A modern led tv uses less power than a 40 watt old school lightbulb.

While true, even 40W adds up to roughly 20 kWh over 3 weeks. Not sure what Canadian electricity prices are like though.

Today, I found some thigh high socks in my boyfriend's drawer. Furious, I confronted him. He confessed they were his and put them on to show me they fit. I had to dump him, it was just too weird. FML

When she got there, I went just outside the building to give her a ticket. The security guards wouldn't let me back in. She went in anyway. FML

Having written about 45 emails waiting in my outbox to go out first thing Monday morning, Outlook has "stopped responding". I might've just lost them all and worked through the day for nothing. FML
