Maybe OP doesn't actually have a bad smell, maybe her husband is just an ass or making a bad joke. Vaginas always have a slight scent they are supposed to and some people dont like that scent that could be the case here. If OP is washing herself normally she shouldn't have any smell other than the natural one. There is never a need for douches or any other invasive washing techniques.
