Today, I found out that even though your brother agrees to watch your dogs for a week, it does not mean that he will pick up after them. Apparently, it's okay to leave piss and shit all over the deck and floors because they're not his dogs and he shouldn't have to clean up their messes. FML

Today, it's been a week since my brother asked me to watch his dog while he's on a business trip. I let his dog out to do his business, and he ran right in front of a pickup. The driver didn't stop in time, and crushed the dog's head. I went to check on him. He's dead, and I will be too when my brother gets back. FML

Today, my family and I are spending the weekend with my in-laws, and their disrespectful, disobedient asshole of a dog. He does whatever he wants, and if I scold him, my mother-in-law in turn scolds me, then tells me how something one of us did is to blame for the dog's behavior. FML

Today, I had to yet again explain to the guy I live with that just because you can't see dirt, it doesn't mean it's clean. And so letting his dog lick the plates is NOT the same thing as washing up. He won't listen to me, and he uses my plates. FML

My dog is trained not to go on surfaces like wood, concrete, ceramic tile... I wouldn't expect to take a dog outside and then pick up it's waste, either! Train your dog or no one will take care of it. Gross!

If your dog was left inside with no other option (I'm assuming the brother didn't take them out for regular walks, and maybe the dogs don't have unrestricted access to the yard), I guarantee they would end up going where they could.

Seems like all you do is watch your dogs too. How about training them to shit in a patch of dirt / grass instead? A little obedience training and discipline is your responsibility.
