To be fair it was dick movie, but he could've been laughing at how messed up it was not that you were hurt. That context does matter, plus being a bar tender I'm sure he hears stories like this frequently. Also flirting with the bartender in a popular vacation spot? Most guys in that position probably slept with so many tourists who knows what unintentional souvenirs you may have brought back. Be thankful it didn't work out.

What is it supposed to feel like exactly? A walk in the friggin park with birds singing like in Disney? It feels probably like the dude tore out her heart and stomped all over it, and then walked away (figuratively). Three years of her life down the drain because of an asshole, it's not going to feel like nothing is wrong.

YDI, for telling someone you don't even know that you were dumped in the first place, not only that how you were dumped is embarrassing enough as it is. Also why talk about exes with a guy you think is cute on your last day of vacation you should have spent that time talking about something far more interesting.
