Today, my significant other woke at 4:30 a.m. to me crying about a spider in the bathroom. I have an intense fear of spiders; he was super nice and took care of it for me. He even walked me out to my car. I started to calm down driving to work, but when I got there what do I see on the door handle but a spider. I'm still shaking. FML

Today, I spotted a huge spider in my bedroom. I freaked out at first, but I managed to confront my arachnophobia and killed it with a book. I was ecstatic and went to tell my boyfriend. By the time I returned to my room, the "dead" spider had vanished. Now I'm too scared to sleep. FML

Today, I was taking off my underwear to change into fresh clothes. Pulling them down, I realize there's a big fat spider in them. Not only did I have a spider chilling with my genitals the whole day, but I'm deathly afraid of them. FML

Today, while showering at my boyfriend's house early this morning, I saw a huge black spider on the wall. I'm allergic to spiders, so in my disorientation I ran out of the shower screaming, slipped, sprained my wrist, and bruised my tailbone. Turns out the spider was a clump of hair. My hair. FML

Today, as I put on my pajamas, a large spider ran down my leg. After freaking out, killing it, and recomposing myself, I went to the bathroom. As I sat down to go to the toilet, I looked up to see hundreds of baby spiders hanging over my head. FML

I kind of feel you. I have intense disgust of cockroaches. I need an instrument like a long handled broom or a flamethrower to get rid of them. But flies or stink bugs i catch with bare hand.

I have the same fear with bees or anything that stings! I've gotten a lot calmer but if I'm trapped in the car with a bee all I want to do is a truck and roll!

What your SO did was very sweet and what an SO should do and you should do back for his fears, but a fear that intense should be dealt with. Having fear is no problem, but if you don't have an outlet to dispose of it (Being able to kill it) than you NEED to work on that for your own bettering.
