Today, after coming home, my apartment reeked of something fierce. Small animals frequently like to crawl under my apartment since I live next to a wooded area. Apparently, skunks are among those who like to visit, and Febreze isn't helping. FML

Skunks may smell musky like any number of other animals, but they don’t reek constantly.

Take a cookie pan and pour coffee grounds on it. Stick it in your oven on broil just for a few minutes (don’t start a fire) the charred smell of the coffee will overrule the smell of the skunk. We had to do that a lot when I was little and we had property.

I guess if it sprayed it could leak into other materials and then the smell might never go away. OoF
