Today, my 16-year-old cousin told me she was "late." When I asked if she could be pregnant, she said no, because, "You can't get pregnant the first time you have sex." I ended up having to give her the sex talk. FML

Planned Parenthood will make an appointment to check if she's pregnant or if this is normal. Please CALL THEM AND ARRANGE AN APPOINTMENT. Because at 16, it's a crapshoot, and pregnancy tests may or may not even be reliable with this--your hormones don't really settle down until your mid-twenties.
