Today, after my wife and and her family often complained about refugees around town and never donated a cent, even blaming a church fire on them, I thought they were just stingy and racist, but now they're donating and even offering their spare houses to refugees from Ukraine. FML

Also this time refugees are women and children who don't want benefits but jobs. It is much easier to find empathy towards them.

Sarsuela...where is your assumption that the brown immigrants don’t include women and children or don’t want jobs? In other words, all the white immigrants are hard-working families, while the brown ones are lazy free-loaders? JFC.
