Today, my ex threatened to not return my things that she still has. She even went on to say she will burn them, because she hates me and I "broke her heart". Not only has it been over half a year since we broke up, but she was the one who broke up with me. FML

Today, my girlfriend broke up with me. The constant harassment, threats and stalking by my ex-wife have finally driven her away. This is the third time this has happened. My ex physically beat the other two up, and now she’s scared away the one I wanted to marry. The courts have done nothing. FML

Consider your stuff lost. I had an ex that acted all sweet and manipulative, wanted to be friends, more than friends, and she was the one who called it off... I conveniently graduated college and didnt tell her where I went. I lost some stuff in this transaction but my sanity stayed intact.

Well, this can’t all be on her. You must’ve done SOMETHING to break her heart in order for her to dump you. No one does anything without a reason - good or bad, small or big, plausible or not, it’s still reason enough to make the person react.
