Hey guys, it's OP! A few details were omitted from my FML- what actually happened was the entire library floor burst into spontaneous applause after my outburst, alerting the librarian on the floor below. It was Finals week, and students at my university were slowly going crazy. I didn't confront them because several students had already asked them to quieten down, and I won't repeat the troublemakers' responses... Then again, what would you expect from the kind of people that play hide-and-seek in a library? Also, I didn't want to tell the librarian to kick them out because I didn't want to be 'that guy', but look how that turned out eh?! Thanks for the comments, I had a good laugh reading them!

my local library is literally right next to the middle school, and a large chunk of kids go to the library after school is over. I can confirm that many people have complained to the staff about the disturbances from the kids.
