Today, I was helping clean my grandpa's garage when I found some of his old election posters from the '50s. They included slogans such as, "Dick: you know it feels right" and "Want growth? Choose Dick." I'm not sure whether to be disgusted or impressed. FML

yes, kids, in the 50's 60's and 70's people did make the connection between dick and penis. my have nixon bumpersticker was "they can't lick our Dick"

OP isn't talking about Nixon. They are talking about their grandpa, obviously. There are other people in the world who are named Dick who ran for office at some point. Besides, as several people have pointed out, OP is from Australia......
