Today, I called Pizza Hut to order a pizza. A voice recording was reading me their specials. The man had a horrible country accent so I began to make fun of it. Then I realized it was an actual person on the line. FML

Why are you so shallow that you feel the need to make fun of how people speak? America is a huge country and you can't go a couple of hundred miles without hearing different local variations in accents. People bitch and moan about not being able to understand the mexicans, chinese, or indians. Shit, Americans speaking english can't understand each other sometimes!

Make fun of all southerners, if you will. It's only our accents. But we are some of the most generous, hospitable, kind people you will ever meet. We may have weird accents, to all who live elsewhere, but we are good people!

Thank you! I really try to be. I do, however, get annoyed and irritated sometimes. But I try to be as respectful and positive as possible. And I do my best to treat people the way I expect to be treated! :)
