Today, an interviewer rang me back, but not to offer me the job. It was to warn me that if my psychotic mother rang him at his home address again trying to bribe and threaten him into giving me the job, then he would call the police and press charges for harassment. FML

Today, my mom called while I was at a job interview. I ignored the call, but the interviewer was so offended by the fact I'd rudely left it on at all, that he threw me out. I found out from my mom later that she'd called to wish me good luck. FML

Today, I checked my inbox and realized I got an email from a potential employer, saying they were having trouble getting a hold of me by phone. They called while my mom was using my phone to look up directions to a place, and she answered, kindly hanging up when they asked for me. FML

Today, I got a call from the only company that asked me to come in for an interview of the many applications I submitted. I answered it even though I was at my current job. My boss heard and chewed me out. The call was to cancel the interview since the position was filled. FML

Today, whilst on a phone interview with a college I really want to go to, my mother picks up the other line and shouts into the phone "She's not going to college, she's lazy and she'll only disappoint you." The interviewer hung up before I could say anything. FML

Call him back and ask him to file the complaint. It's the only way you're going to get that bunny boiling harpy off your back. If you can get it in front of a judge you might be able to get a restraining order for her to leave you the hell alone as well.

Never ever give the name or contact information for a job search to family or friends! … OP, no way you deserve this, but how the hell did Mom get the information to contact a job contact? … I assume you are living with Mom, get the hell out of there absolutely as soon as you can even if you have to have roommates. Never give or loan Mom a key or allow her in.
