Today, date night with my boyfriend. I had my makeup done, fake lashes, etc. He was staring at me and I’m thought, "Oh, he loves how my eyes look" so I started flirting a lot, fluttering my lashes. We then took a pic and saw my lashes were falling, so I asked, ”Were they like that the whole night?” He replied, “Yeah, it looked weird.” FML

Today, while getting ready for a friend's wedding, I was curling my eyelashes. My cat decided to jump onto the towel rod. As I went to catch her, I ripped all the eyelashes out of one eye. I called my boyfriend crying. When he saw me, he laughed and said, "You look really surprised in that eye." FML

Today, I went on a date with someone I really like. Halfway through dinner, I noticed my mascara was smudging, so I tried to discreetly wipe it off with my napkin. Unless he thought it should look like that (maybe he really doesn’t understand makeup), he could have told you earlier and spared you the embarrassment. It would have been kinder and more respectful. If it’s been hours, you may sadly have encountered a lot of people who had a laugh at your expense. Don’t care about them. Cheer up! The important part was that you felt beautiful and had a good time.

This is why you don't bother with cosmetic crap like fake lashes. If he's your boyfriend, I'm sure he's used to seeing you without them, so leave it that way. People should see the real you, anyway, not who you're pretending to be with makeup and other embellishments.
