I would be pissed and wondering what you are doing... Always ask or tell your bf what you are doing so there are no stupid surprises. Live and learn.
at rider: OP clearly said her boyfriend was waiting at HER house to surprise her. she didn't drive past his house.
yeah your name says it all you were caught cheating i despises bitches like you
I fail to see the FML here. Other than the fact that you neglected to tell your boyfriend you were helping your ex. Two-way communication is pretty essential in a healthy relationship. For all of you people wondering what she's doing with her ex: screw you with a fork. There's no reason not to be friends with your ex, sometimes people just don't work out as a couple, but they can be great friends otherwise. If the boyfriend is the jealous type, then that's his problem.
^That
It's called "Trust", try it some time :) Anyone who considers this a problem, probably hasn't been in a decent relationship in their life.
It's both. It can happen that you run into your ex and that he/she asks you to help him/her with something and you decide to help out. If it'd happen to me I wouldn't bother to call my partner, I'd just help my ex out with whatever she wanted and then tell my current girlfriend about it when I saw her. And if she saw us doing something together, she'd just assume it was innocent helping and/or random catching up, because she trusts me. It's obviously good to communicate that you recently have contact with you ex, but it's even more important to not immediately think your partner is up to something when he/she is in the presence of a person of the other sex. I see too many posts about "my partner saw me with another person and dumped me before I could say that it was my cousin/brother/classmate/old friend/random person" That just makes no sense. Jealousy is not healthy in a relationship, nor is lack of trusting each other.
Not that your boyfriend has a right to know your every move, but this could have been prevented if you simply communicated with him. It is as simple as, "Hey honey I still talk with Ex and he needs someone to give him a ride..." Usually if you are hanging out with an ex, the current boyfriend likes a heads up. Why you would hide this I don't know. But for future reference say something to the person you are with then there won't be mistakes/assumptions made.
Why are you with your ex-boyfriend in the first place? I want an explanation too! >8| YDI
